Geo-politically speaking, the US&EU delayed bombing Assad's Syria for as long as they can to help in establishing ISIS!!
Thus creating a situation where a defeated Assad will NOT be succeeded by Sunni Muslim regime, nor Muslim Brotherhood, but by chaos and internal fighting..
Then the US will have more control on the outcome, by facilitating the funding of a particular group while making it difficult for other groups to gather funds.. effectively deciding the final winner and the next oppressor of the Syrian People!!
(Probably Shi’ite or secular.. or a mixture of the two!)
