The historian JOSEPHUS was a controversial character.
His writings - unfortunately - became a main source for current history studies..
He wrote about the events of the destruction of the second Jewish temple (70 CE), and the ear of early Christianity.. But many started to doubt his intentions, and it became clear to me that he - like Paul! - was an agent working for the Roman empire to shape societies into a specific shape, desired by the Romans.. I mean (making the Jews lose the war against Rome, and stop thinking about another) & (creating a new "passive" offshoot from Judaism, i.e. Christianity) !!
